Justin Sun: Potential Partnership With Ethereum In The Near Future

Justin Sun Potential Partnership With Ethereum In The Near Future

During an interview with The Crypto Chick, Justin Sun revealed several interesting news about Tron (TRX). Among the news, a potential partnership with Ethereum that most likely will happen during 2019.

Tron: Major News Are Around The Corner

Justin Sun is the founder of the blockchain Tron (TRX) and the CEO of BitTorrent (BTT). A while back, he was a student of Jack Ma’s Hupan University. Justin is passionate about decentralising the internet, creating a boundary-free environment that returns privacy and ownership to the people. It seems as though he does a good job since his blockchain was voted the second best by the Chinese CCID Research Institute.

Moreover, Tron has over 300 decentralised applications (dapps) running on its blockchain. It is well known that Eos, Ethereum and Tron have a battle of dapp domination. Even though Ethereum holds the biggest number, Tron has the most used dapp out of the three blockchains. However, in a recent interview with Rachel Wolfson, he said that competition is very good for the industry since it pushes the blockchains to keep on innovating. The competitions create better products according to Tron’s founder.

However, both Ethereum and Tron want to bring mass adoption to the cryptocurrency industry. Justin stated therefore that they would collaborate with Ethereum and they might even do it as soon as this year. He said:

“I think in the future we will even collaborate with lots of Ethereum developers and also the enterprises built on Ethereum before to make the industry better.”

Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, reacted to the comment on Twitter. If they will collaborate in the future is yet to be seen, but the news is encouraging.

Tron: Will Scale With More Than 100x Current State

Meanwhile, the news about collaboration was interesting; Tron has more developments up their sleeve. They will release they’re a stablecoin of their own. Justin argued that today’s solution, such as the Bitcoin-based Omni Protocol Teather (USDT) is too slow. Tron’s solution will be faster and cheaper. They are doing this because stablecoins are the most important thing when it comes to the infrastructure. He says that most users do not know much about cryptocurrencies and therefore it will help if the asset used is stable. According to the founder, most institutions are waiting for good stablecoin solutions as well.

Speaking of faster and cheaper, Tron will also introduce a layer two solution in Q2 this year. The solution will make Tron 100 times more scalable than it is today. The upgrade will also make the blockchain both faster and cheaper.

It seems as though Tron is a blockchain to watch during 2019. The crypto world is evolving, and the infrastructure is taking shape. It will be interesting to see which blockchains that will be with us in the coming years.
